The ants come marching one by one

Ra'anana residents are complaining that their city has been struck by a plague of ants.

Ra'anana residents are complaining that their city has been struck by a plague of ants, reports Ha'ir Ra'anana. They say that even though they keep their homes spotlessly clean, their apartments are being invaded by endless columns of the pesky insects, and that even when they spray insecticides on the floor, this only drives the ants away for a short time. According to the report, the residents say they have tried both conventional and home remedies against the insects, including placing coffee grounds, baking powder, bay leaves and even bleach on the floor, but nothing seems to be helping. No explanation was offered for the phenomenon, which seems to grow worse whenever the weather warms up. A professional exterminator said those affected should ensure that no crumbs or food particles are left on the floor, that baking powder is scattered about and that every hole is blocked up, but if all this does not help, the only solution might be to call a qualified exterminator.
