An Israel Navy missile boat intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that was launched into Israeli territory from western Lebanon on Wednesday, the military stated.

"Throughout Operation Roaring Lion, the Israeli navy has been taking part in aerial defense, identifying and intercepting UAVs launched toward the State of Israel," the military said.

Soldiers injured by anti-tank missile 

Separately, the IDF additionally announced on Wednesday that two soldiers were moderately injured while operating in southern Lebanon as a result of anti-tank fire.

The wounded soldiers were stationed in southern Lebanon as part of the IDF's newly established defensive position against Hezbollah, the military said.

"The injured soldiers were evacuated to a hospital in order to receive medical treatment, and their families were notified," the IDF added.
