The report comes as two Israeli sources told The Jerusalem Post that Israel has raised its alert and readiness for a potential resumption of large US strikes on Iran.
"Iran’s position remains ‘attack for attack’: if the attacks stop, Iran will also halt its operations. That message has already been conveyed to the United States," the source told Reuters.
There was no immediate official statement from Iranian authorities regarding the incident.

Saudi Arabian outlets reported that Washington and Tehran submitted their responses following the second consecutive night without US strikes in two weeks.

The Ukrainian President said Russian satellite surveillance is being given to Iranian authorities with a clear correlation between the intel and subsequent Iranian strikes in Gulf states.
One of the sources said Oman has proposed establishing a regional consortium that would oversee maritime security, search-and-rescue operations, and other forms of regional cooperation.
The Kheibar Shekan missiles can be kept fueled and loaded quickly onto trucks for launching, making it easier to evade warplanes targeting launch sites.
