Jordanian Islamists protest Israeli attacks on Gaza

Some 2,000 Jordanians protested after Friday noon prayers against Israeli economic sanctions and military attacks on Gaza Strip, calling for solidarity with area's Hamas leadership and more suicide attacks against Israel.
The protest in the Jordanian capital of Amman, led by Jordan's Muslim Brotherhood organization, praised the Hamas movement which control's the Gaza Strip and its leader Ismail Haniyeh, in a show of strength by the movement following its defeat at the polls.
"Al-Qassam army: go forward with your suicide attacks against the enemy," shouted the protesters, referring to Hamas's armed wing, while waving Jordanian and Brotherhood flags.
The protesters also called for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador and the closure of the embassy in Amman. "Al-Rabieh must be liberated from the Zionist embassy and its ambassador," they shouted, referring to the neighborhood where it is located.
