A Palestinian official says that after a delay, Israel has finally made a vital monthly tax transfer to the PA. But he says millions of dollars are missing. Yusuf Zumor of the Palestinian Finance Ministry says the $54 million arrived on Tuesday. But he says an additional $20 million is missing. Zumor says Israeli officials didn't say why they cut the amount. Israel collects certain tax revenues for the Palestinians and transfers the money each month. The money was meant to be sent last week, but it didn't materialize. Israeli treasury officials blamed a technical glitch. Palestinian officials believe Israel delayed the payment after Palestinian Authority prime minister Salaam Fayad lobbied European nations not to boost their relations with Israel.
