Yemen handed over on Thursday an alleged Saudi al-Qaida operative to Saudi authorities.
The Interior Ministry said that Ahmed Owaidan al-Harbi was repatriated to Saudi Arabia, 20 days after his arrest in eastern Yemen.
In a statement, the ministry described al-Harbi as "wanted" by Saudi authorities. No other details were provided.
On Tuesday, Yemen extradited a former Saudi Guantanamo detainee turned al-Qaida operative in Yemen back to Saudi Arabia. Yemen has said Abu al-Hareth Muhammad al-Oufi surrendered himself to authorities.
Yemen is an impoverished country on the Arabian Peninsula that is ancestral home of Osama bin Laden. It is re-emerging as a terrorist battleground and potential base of operations for al-Qaida.
