1 FILM 1 HOLOCAUST FOR ADOLESCENTS In the film Once in a Lifetime, Anne Gueguene is a history teacher in France in a mixed high school of Christian, Muslim and Jewish students. She tries to bring them together by entering them in a competition focusing on “children in the Nazi concentration camps.” As the competition draws near, the classmates find themselves opening up to the subject and to one another.
2 DANCE HOMECOMING LIBERATION The new dance group Ness Ziona Ballet, founded under the artistic direction of dancer and choreographer Eli Lazar, opens its season with a world debut of the neoclassic work Freedom. The piece symbolizes Lazar’s return to Israel after working for 30 years in the United States, celebrating the beginning of a new journey.

4 GREEK FEST Three voices from Greece will sing together for the first time in Israel. Dalaras, Eleni Vitali and Glykeria will perform in the summer’s biggest concert of Greek music.

5 MUSIC IN THE ORCHARDS In the heart of the orchards in the center of Kibbutz Na’an, there is a quiet, intimate place that once a month becomes a chamber music salon, hosting leading ensembles from Israel and abroad. 6 THE CULTURE STAGE Bama Tova (Good Stage) supports building bridges between different sectors within Israeli culture and between Israeli cultures and world cultures. Bama Tova’s celebratory concert Be Prepared combines classics from countries such as Azerbaijan, Iran, India and the Caucasus. The performance is an experience of sounds, cultures, past and present.

7 CHILDREN PAJAMAS IN THE MUSEUM For the traditional annual Tel Aviv White Night, the Eretz Israel Museum invites children on an exciting night journey through the spaces and exhibitions of the museum. The magical experience includes tours, nighttime stories, a creative workshop for late-night hours and watching films in the planetarium. It is recommended to come in pajamas.

8 ART PERSONAL JUNCTION The exhibition “Wandering Rider” is a retrospective, presenting 120 works by artist Asad Azi, who has been painting for more than 30 years. His painting is a junction of styles, sources of inspiration, techniques and themes. In his works, the artist interweaves autobiographical details, Arab culture and characteristics of popular culture, East and West.

The project brings together leading vocalists from Moscow’s major opera houses. The group consists of seven tenors who have performed together at Carnegie Hall, San Carlo, Covent Garden, the Bolshoi and more. Accompanied by a symphonic orchestra and dancers, they will perform Neapolitan songs and French chansons, as well as hits by The Beatles and Queen and more.

10 LIVE ROCK The Live Park in Rishon Lezion is hosting a rock festival, sponsored by the car brand MINI. The one-day festival will present a summit of Israeli rock: Mashina hosting Berry Sakharoff, Monica Sex, Eifo Hayeled and Elisha Banai and the 40 Thieves, all on one stage full of guitars and energy. An event reminiscent of the big rock festivals of the past.
