Edri forced to resign over Shaham sexual harassment scandal
Dep.-Ch. Nissim Edri was forced to resign Sunday, Israel Radio reported, amid speculation that he failed to divulge that his commander, Asst.- Ch. Nisso Shaham, sexually harassed a policewoman.

Police chief Insp.-Gen. Yohanan Danino announced that Edri would not be continuing in his post, but had no further comment on the issue.

Both Edri and Shaham were placed on forced leave on July 26, when the Justice Ministry’s Police Investigations Department announced a month-long undercover investigation of Shaham.
