Compensation for Sderot business set

Separately, Paamonim, the financial counseling institution, said it was sending representatives to help counsel families that have been caused financial damage due to the situation.
The Finance Ministry said late Monday that business owners in the Sderot area who made compensation claims as a result of the recent Kassam attacks, will be awarded the lowest options of the following: 75% of their claim, 50% of revenue earned last year during the month of May or NIS 2m. The decision was made following a meeting of Finance Ministry Budget Adviser Koby Haber, the director-general of the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry, Gabi Maimon, Histadrut Chairman Ofer Eini, and Shraga Brosh, president of the Manufacturers Association of Israel, who also concluded that workers and business owners in the region must report to work or risk losing a portion of their compensation packages.
