A market test conducted by LAWYERS among interns who took the Bar Association certification tests in the summer of 2021 and in the summer of 2022 found: 1,506 interns took the bar exam in 2022 compared to 2,546 in 2021.

The main reason for the decrease is due to the internship period being extended from one year to one and a half years.

Attorneys Erika Solomon Vasser and Roy Biton, managers of LAWYERS, point out that for the summer 2022 exam, only 597 interns (out of 1,506) took the exams for the first time and all the rest were repeat examinees, this in contrast to the previous exams where the number of first-time examinees was significantly larger - 1,624 examinees taking it for the first time (out of a total of 2,549 examinees.

The percentages of first-time examinees passing are tens of percent higher than those among repeat examinees (between 30% and 48% higher).
