From TV star to disrupting fashion with 'The Shoe Surgeon' and many other ventures  –  Dallas Remo Imbimbo seems to have his foot in every door that leads to success. A high achiever that symbolized the current role model for young entrepreneurs.

Looking at the younger generation of entrepreneurs in the US, majority shows more likeliness to sympathize with the charismatic image of an Elon Musk, than that of the classic real estate broker, managers, analysts, etc. Does that have to do with Musk's net worth? Porbably yes, but much less than some might think. Much rather it's the intriguing mix of successful risk taking and constant innovation, with very little self limitations when it comes to expanding the portfolio of ventures and explorations.

Dallas Remo Imbimbo is one of those  entrepreneurs who follow suit with a similar style, proving that although there is no such things as blueprints, there is such thing as a talent to grow businesses, regardless of the industry. Another similarity to the Forbes list leader, and an important ingredient, he is also one whose business and personal circles overlap with the who is who of the creative scenes.

Always Thinking Business, But With Natural Charms

Some might remember Dallas Imbimbo from his spell on the CBS TV-show 'The Amazing Race' alongside his single mother, where his charismatic appearance gained him a lot of fans in short time. At the time Imbimbo was still in college, but his genuine 'people skills' were impossible to overlook. And his entrepreneurial mindset at the time was quite remarkable.

Imbimbo recalls starting his first company in 7th grade called 'Kid DJ Mobile Entertainment', where he used to DJ all the local middle school dances, high school dances, weddings and birthday parties. He then attended UC Davis where he walked on the basketball team in his sophomore year, a passion lasting to this day. By the end of his Junior year Dallas Imbimbo started a company called 'Pack My Dorm' which was a moving and storage solution for college students, gaining partnerships with UC Berkeley, UC Davis, Stanford and UC Santa Cruz.

After college, Dallas Imbimbo founded KushBottles, later KushCo Holdings with Nicolas Kovacevic. KushCo Holdings is an American company that sells packaging, containers, and other ancillary products for the cannabis industry. Now called Greenlane Holdings, the company is publicly traded on Nasdaq.

Growing Businesses Seems To Come Natural

In 2012 the Californian entrepreneur founded a company called 'BigRentz' which he describes as  'Uber for the construction equipment rental industry'. The company was listend in the top 50-fastest-growing companies and has powered events such as the Super Bowl and the World series. In 2016, he co-founded an investment firm called 'Alpha West' with one of the main investments being into a company called The Shoe Surgeon'.

'The Shoe Surgeon' with Dominic Ciambrone is arguably the business partnership that combines all the  factors that appear so appealing to young entrepreneurs. Ciambrone is the creative, a sneaker virtuoso known to deconstruct and rebuild shoes with top quality materials, and even create his own designs from scratch, often in collaboration with some of the biggest names in the industry. That includes brands like Gucci, Nike, Netflix, NBA, NFL, Golden State Warriors, Bentley as well as superstars such as Justin Bieber.

Dallas Imbimbo is the business side of 'The Shoe Surgeon', but the two business partners share a passion for sports and fashion, the result of the combined forces being a thriving business with celebrity appeal.

In 2019 Imbimbo co-founded 'Unrivaled Inc', a leading cannabis brand and distribution platform that is publicly traded.

It is clear to see that there are no limitations to Dallas Imbimbo's playgrounds, besides the potential he sees in a business. He credits his passion to the rewarding feeling of positively impacting other people's lives, while celebrating milestones in the respective companies. As exciting as it is to keep an eye on the development of his current ventures, probably the more intriguing question is what's next, what is the next unpredicted step? A question surely asked, when the outcome seems to be predictably successful.
