Sergei Sakhnovsky and Galit Chait perform their original dance at the 2006 Winter Olympics figure skating ice dance competition in Turin yesterday. The top Israeli ice dance duo bounced back from a disappointing performance on Friday to score 55.65 in the original dance last night and now have an overall score of 86.72 heading into Monday's final program, the free dance (live at 8:45 p.m. on Channel 2). Brother-sister ice dancing team Alexandra and Roman Zaretsky had been in last place after the compulsory dance on Friday, but their 41.21 score in the original dance was good enough to lift them off the bottom. The Zaretskys' overall score is 64.72. Also Monday, Michael Renzhin is scheduled to become the first Israeli to compete in an Olympic skiing competition.
