Ga’ash and Caesarea get together on links

After a thrilling final round of the Israel Open Net Championships, Amiram Zantkern took home the A Division title, Guy Benhamou emerged as the champion of the B Division and Avraham Levy captured the C Division to cap off the fantastic tournament held this week at the Ga’ash Golf Club.
The final followed two qualifying rounds that were held a both of the country’s golf courses, Ga’ash and Caesarea.
Fifteen players from each club and each division reached the final, which was divided into two sessions, with the C Division taking place in the morning and the Divisions A and B teeing off in the afternoon.
Ga’ash’s Zantkern won the division with a net 69, with second place going to another Ga’ash member, Gidon Hoch.
Two players from Caesarea took first and second place in the B Division, with both Benhamou and Ronnie Peleg scoring net 68, and Benhamou winning on the count out.
The C Division was won by two Ga’ash players: Levy, who finished on net 66, and Dani Levin with a score of net 67.
