Flag Football For the second game in a row Pallorium fell behind, but the team from Hashmonaim came back to beat METV 28-25 and maintained its perfect record in the American Football in Israel men's contact league. METV took a 25-2 lead in its week 4 game at Kraft Family Stadium on Saturday night, November 11, but could not hold on as Pallorium scored 26 unanswered points. In week 2, Pallorium came back to beat Karelitz. Pallorium is one of seven teams that have a 3-0 record halfway through the first round of the men's contact league, which is sponsored this year by Fly-ACake.com and Koolano.com. There are a record 58 teams in the league this season. Yeshiva basketball registration opens AFI has announced the opening of registration for the 2006/07 season of the Yeshiva Basketball League. Dozens of teams are expected to compete for the coveted championship trophy. AFI president Steve Leibowitz announced that the Yeshiva Basketball League championship trophy would be officially named the Red Auerbach Trophy, after the late Jewish coach, General Manager and President of the Boston Celtics. Former captain Amir Kronberg returned to Kfar Zippori, if only for one game, and killed two METV drives with a pair of interceptions.
