Alex Rudoy won the "A" Division with a net-77 at the Gaash Golf Club's Monthly Medal on Monday.
The first Monthly Medal of 2008 was hampered by gale force winds and rain. The "B" and "C" Division's tournament was cancelled, due to harsh weather conditions.
The 21 players from the "A" Division made the effort to start playing, despite the difficult weather, yet quite a few players retired early.
Alex Rudoy, Raphy Harroche, Howard Ross and Judy Reefe all had net-77. Alex won on the count out with Raphy taking second place.
The Wine Center at Gaash's "Nearest to the Pin" prize went to Raphy Harroche, 6.8 meters into a strong wind on hole 9, par 3, playing at 160 meters. On the same hole on Friday, Brian Galgut made a Hole-in-One!
