In other Israeli golf news, atrisk children will begin golf lessons at the Caesarea Golf Club.
The project aims to introduce children from the Emunah Children’s Center in Afula to an athletic pursuit that will hopefully guide them towards a better future.
Shlomo Kessel, director of the Emunah Center and a member of the club, is spearheading the project.
As part of this special initiative, 15 12-year-old children will take part in an introductory golf session, and eight of them will be selected to begin a series of lessons.
Activities will take place every Wednesday, beginning December 29, from 5 to 6 p.m., for a trial period of three months.
