The Tel Aviv Lightning handed the Petah Tikva Pioneers their second loss of the young season in a 12-2 laugher at Yarkon Field on Wednesday night.
The Lightning enjoyed a night of hot-hitting, particularly from leftfielder Josh Matlow, who went 2-2 with a double and three RBIs.
Tel Aviv got a lot of help from a Petah Tikva defense that committed five errors leading to six unearned runs.
Australian Adam Crabb picked up his first win of the season with a stellar pitching performance. He threw a dominating six innings, scattering six hits and allowing just one earned run to give the Lightning a 2-1 record.
