Izhak Mamistvalov received the 2006 Sportsman of the Year medal from the Israel Sport Center for the Disabled this weekend for his outstanding achievements at the IPC World Swimming Championships.
Mamistvalov, who swims in the S1 class using only one arm, collected three gold medals in the World Championships at the start of December in South Africa.
