Dudi Sela continued his rise up the ATP rankings on Monday, climbing to a new career best No. 66 in the world.
The 22-year-old Sela, who was ranked as low as 196th in the world five months ago, will play his final tournament of the year at Yokohama this week. Sela moved up the rankings after losing on Sunday 6-3, 6-3 to local favorite Yen-Hsun Lu (103) in the final of the Challenger tournament in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Harel Levy is Israel's second best ranked player at No. 177, with Noam Okun at No. 241.
Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich, who were knocked out at the round robin stage of the Masters Cup last week, finished the ATP's doubles race at No. 8.
Shahar Pe'er and Tzipi Obziler are ranked at No. 17 and 81 respectively in the WTA rankings.
