Media reports said the victim was the father of a state witness in a major organized crime case, though authorities have not confirmed the alleged connection.

On Monday, a Jaffa resident in his 30s lightly injured three in a shooting incident on Shmuel ben Adiya Street. Seperately, Rajed Abd al-Hadi, a 22-year-old influencer, was shot at a hookah lounge.

In Yafia, two men in their 30s were fatally shot. Magen David Adom paramedics reported treating the two men for penetrating wounds shortly before reporting that the men had both died at the scene.
