Canadian antisemitism envoy to be replaced by ‘rights, equality, and inclusion' advisory council

Canada's government says the council will help "build a more inclusive and united Canada." Canadian Jewish groups see the change as detrimental to the fight against antisemitism.

Canadian Jews support war in Gaza, condemn settlement expansion, Diaspora survey finds

The 2025 Survey of Canadian Jews found that a majority of Canadian Jews (53%) oppose settlement expansion in the West Bank and Gaza.
