Water restrictions imposed throughout Israel amid nationwide supply disruption

The warning came amid an unusual disruption to Israel’s national water network, after five of the country’s six desalination facilities shut down.

Gov't approves plan to boost desalinated water production using private companies

The overarching goal of the new plan is to enable the State of Israel to produce 2.3 billion cubic meters of desalinated water per year by 2050, and 2,75 billion cubic meters per year by 2075.
