This decision will be one of the many initiatives set to take place in the overall comprehensive plan that has been created for the Kibbutz following the destruction caused by the October 7 attack.
Amit Solvy, the economic chairman of Kibbutz Be’eri, predicted that the costs of repair would be as high as 600 million shekels ($159 million).
"In the Kibbutz Beeri massacre, I know every single person, every single member of my kibbutz and their children. For me, it was a second holocaust," he said.
This all-terrain vehicle is expected to help soldiers execute evacuations safely, along with a slew of other military activities.
"They understood that we wouldn't escape," Hila Rotem-Shoshani said. "Outside was also dangerous. Why would we run?"
Hamas said the fate of the three would be revealed on Monday.
Daniel Weiss, a resident of the ravaged Kibbutz Be'eri, who lost both his parents in the October 7 attacks, performed on stage in Tel Aviv, singing "This song must remain playing."
Even in exile, the kibbutz makes all decisions as a collective. An offer to move into three new buildings in Jerusalem was turned down.
In light of the massacre just three months ago, these artworks are a testament to one woman’s belief in beauty, innocence, and the transcendent power of nature.
