Sexual harassment

Jafar Farah, Hadash’s No. 2 Knesset candidate, stepped down from the list amid allegations of sexual harassment and calls for his removal, while denying the claims against him.

According to the indictment, Ganah was questioned, released to house arrest, and then, within a single day, allegedly committed a further series of acts against at least 10 different women.

The indictment states that the incident later took on a sexual nature. Karko allegedly held the officer’s face with both hands and sat on a chair with his legs spread apart.

The suspect had presented himself as a 16-year-old on social media and utilized an image of a minor to contact 11- to 15-year-olds.

Yazan Goaya proposed meeting the minor for sexual activity, offered money, requested photographs, and sent sexually explicit messages to a child under 14 years of age, the indictment alleged.

Security cameras at a facility for children with disabilities allegedly captured a sports instructor committing indecent acts against several female residents during a covert police investigation.

The 15-count indictment filed by the Justice Ministry’s Police Investigation Department names 28-year-old Samer Sheikh of Abu Snan, who served in the traffic division of the police’s Yarkon district.

A lawyer identified only by her first name, Sarah, told CNN that the alleged sexual misconduct lasted for over a year after she started working as Khan’s assistant in February 2023.

Avraham Appel, of Jackson, abused his position as a trusted community leader to sexually assault and exploit the woman, an Israeli immigrant who came to him as a single mother, the lawsuit said.

The additional allegation followed a complaint filed by another woman after the suspect's photograph was published by police.
