Israel security forces launched an operation overnight Thursday in the village of Silwad, home of the Palestinian terrorist that killed IDF Sgt. Elchai Teharlev, the IDF said Friday morning.
As part of the operation the terrorist's brother was arrested, the family's house was mapped out by engineering forces, work permits were confiscated from family remembers along with six stolen vehicles and NIS 40,000, which supported terrorist activity.
On Thursday morning, Malik Hamad, 22, rammed his car into Teharlev, killing him almost instantly and lightly injuring a 19-year old soldier who stood with him.
