As Chef Yochanan Lambiase says, a real vegan revolution is happening in Israel. In this week's episode of "Cooking with JPost" we will learn how to make a vegan avocado and carob chocolate pudding - the perfect summer treat!

What you'll need:

  • 2 avocados (halved and scored)
  • 3 bananas
  • 2 tbsp carob powder
  • 3 tbsp organic brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Granola
  • Blender
Step 1: Blend, blend, blend
Step 1

Scoop avocados, bananas, carob powder and brown sugar into the blender. Add water and blend well.

Step 2: Chill out

Step 2

Pour the mixture into a bowl and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Garnish

Step 3

Sprinkle the desired amount of granola on top.



What is carob?

Chef Yochanan Lambiase heralds from five generations of chefs from Southern Italy. He trained under some of the most famous Michelin Star Chefs in the world.
