Democrats aid Rep. Ilhan Omar [D – MN] by trying “to cover up her bigotry and antisemitism,” said Rep. Liz Cheney [R- WY] on Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the Washington Times reported.

Cheney was speaking about how the Democratic Party opted to condemn antisemtisim as well as anti-Muslim and other forms of bigotry instead of focusing on the alleged antisemtic comments by Omar, who previously said Israel “hypnotizes the world.”

“I think it is absolutely shameful that [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi and [House Majority Leader Steny H.] Hoyer and the Democratic leaders will not put her name in a resolution on the floor and condemn her remarks,” she said.

Cheney voted against the resolution believing it is “a sham.”
