The semifinals and finals of the 12th Mia Arbatova Ballet Competition will take place at the Suzanne Dellal Dance Center on Thursday, April 24 and May 10 respectively. The bi-annual competition is this year dedicated to the memory of Moshe Lazrah, one of Arbatova's principal dancers, who died in February. There are 18 semifinalists who will appear in a marathon session to be hosted by Ido Tadmor. There will be guest appearances at both the finals and the semifinals, including a performance of The Dying Swan by Nadia Timofeyevna and a duet from Romeo and Juliet choreographed by Berta Yampolski.
