Eran Shakine's new exhibition, "Sabbath match" which opened last Saturday, is based on his connection to the Israeli reality we live in. Shakine borrows objects that are recognized by the viewer as Judica, and endows them with a secular, contemporary interpretation. For example, a football made of black and white skullcaps (kippot). The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue, with text by Sarit Shapira "Sabbath match," 13.9-18.10 Gallery 39 for Contemporary Art, 39 Nachmani st. Tel-Aviv.
