Moran Mazur won the preliminary national round for the Eurovision Song Contest on Thursday and will represent Israel at the contest which will be held in Malmo, Sweden on May 15. 

Mazur won with her song "Only For Him" (Rak Bishvilo).



Now in its 58th year, Israel has won the contest in 1978, 1979, and most recently in 1998 with Dana International's song "Diva," written by Zvika Pick and Yoav Ginai.

Israel first participated in the contest in 1973.
