12 wounded in bomb blast near Turkey-Iraq border

ANKARA, Turkey — A state-run news agency says 11 Turkish soldiers and their driver were injured in a roadside bomb explosion near the border with Iraq.
Turkey's Anatolia news agency says the bomb went off as the minibus was traveling on a road near the border town of Cukurca on Monday.
Kurdish rebels, fighting for autonomy in Turkey's southeast, have dramatically stepped up their attacks since June after they say the government rejected their calls for a dialogue.
