15 year old dies from flu in Hadera Hospital

A 15 year old youth died Tuesday at the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera as a result of complications from the flu, Army Radio reported. His parents accompanied him to the hospital pediatrics ward last Sunday after the boy reported symptoms of difficulty breathing, high fever, and chest pains.
Though hospitalized and receiving intensive care from the pediatrics department staff, the boy succumbed due to organ failure. Hospital tests concluded that the boy had caught a seasonal flu, and not the swine flu.
