Five Palestinians were captured Sunday night in possession of two guns, a large knife and a number of Molotov cocktails near the settlement of Elon Moreh.

The group set a number of tires on fire apparently to draw the attention of Israeli security forces and then to attack soldiers that arrived on the scene.

A reserve unit from the Nahal Brigade however succeeded in detaining the Palestinians before they could act. The suspects were transferred to the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) for interrogation.
