Wolfson Medical Center in Holon confirmed on Tuesday that an 8-day-old baby tested positive for coronavirus.
The baby was born at Hadassah Medical Center on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem and was brought to Wolfson after with a high fever.
He is in good medical condition and his mother, who shows no signs of the virus, is with him in a special unit designed for such cases.
