A woman was found stabbed to death Monday in a hotel room on the 15th floor in the Dan Panorama Hotel on Kaufman Street in Tel Aviv.

Police said the woman was an Australian tourist, Israel Radio reported.

A Magen David Adom doctor who was dispatched to the scene confirmed her death.

Police arrived at the scene and arrested a man "whose involvement is being examined." The cirumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown.
