Bar association releases optimistic report of 2014

The Israel Bar Association on Monday published its annual report covering a wide range of changes and new initiatives.
Some of the changes included opening a call center, increasing inquiries to the IBA by 90 percent as compared to before there was a call center, and greater supervision over the internship year in which lawyers work for a year under the supervision of a mentor-lawyer prior to applying to take the bar exam.
The IBA also reported success with its greater emphasis on arbitration, advances in its achieving a more uniform electronic database and the completion of new building spaces.
