Barak welcomes $235 million in aid from Congress

Defense Minister Ehud Barak welcomed on Sunday a US Congress decision to approve $235 million in aid to the Defense Ministry.

The aid will be used for the development and implementation of anti-missile programs.

"The aid from the Congress is another step to strengthen defense ties between Israel and the United States," Barak said. "Continued development of missile programs help to prepare Israel better in case of attack and will strengthen Israel's security."
