Representatives from Beersheba municipality held discussions on Friday morning with officials from the Home Front Command in light of the heightened security situation following increased rocket attacks in the area and the terror attacks near Eilat.
The officials decided that events with more than 500 participants will not take place in the city.
During the meeting, the officials considered canceling a soccer game that was due to be played on Friday in the city.
