Belgium detains 7 after anti-terror raids in Brussels

BRUSSELS - Belgian authorities detained seven people for questioning after a string of house searches related to an anti-terror investigation in Brussels on Wednesday, prosecutors said.
"The investigation relates to the issue of possible returning Syria fighters," federal prosecutors said in a statement.
The operations were focused on about eight locations and were not linked to recent attacks in Brussels or Paris. No explosives or weapons were found.
