Tel Aviv District Naval Police located the body of a 15-year-old tourist from the Democratic Republic of Georgia at Poleg Beach near Netanya on Sunday.

The boy was reported missing by his parents on Thursday after the kayak he and two friends had been sitting in flipped over. The youth's friends succeeded in swimming back to shore.

Police discovered the body after a weekend-long search and an MDA doctor pronounced him dead. The body was brought to Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv for autopsy.

Netanya Police were investigating the incident.
