Commander of IDF soldier who died by friendly fire resigns

Major Elad Peretz, the commander of the IDF soldier that died by friendly fire in Gaza two weeks ago, stepped down from his position on Sunday.

Peretz took responsibility for the death of 20-year-old Sgt. Nadav Rotenberg and said that the incident did not just happen because of a technical fault.
