Court orders Abu Tir to be transferred to PA territory

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court on Wednesday prohibited Hamas official Mahmoud Abu Tir from entering Israel and ordered his transfer to Palestinian Authority territory.
If Abu Tir is to return to Israel, he will be sent to four months in prison.
Abu Tir was arrested last January and he was charged with illegally residing in Israel after he refused to follow the Shin Bet's (Israel Security Agency) order to leave Jerusalem. He also refused to pay an imposed NIS 350,000 fine.
