Likud MK Danny Danon on Tuesday attacked "bleeding-heart" leftists for contributing to a wave of violence in south Tel Aviv by preventing the government from deporting African migrants through the filing of hundreds of appeals to the country's courts of law.

Danon made the comments at a special Knesset session, initiated by the Likud MK himself, to discuss the growing number of African migrants in south Tel Aviv. He called for "deportation now" of the "60,000 illegal infiltrators."

"Morals and humanity are part of the Israeli society, but after we let them in our homes and instances of rape and robbery flood our neighborhoods, the time has come to deport them immediately - the damage to Israeli society is too great," Danon said.
