MK Danny Danon (Likud) said on Monday that upon hearing the news that the Palestinian Authority had been accepted as a full member to UNESCO, he called on the US to cut aid to the organization.

"I asked US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and US Congress members to enact their threat of cutting off 22 percent of UNESCO’s annual budget, or some $70 million a year," he explained.
