Dozens stage Naksa Day protest in J'lem; 1 arrested

Dozens of Palestinians and left-wing activists marked Naksa Day with an unauthorized demonstration near Jerusalem's Damascus Gate on Tuesday.
Police forcefully dispersed the illegal demonstration after the protesters failed to heed their calls to break up the protest. Police arrested one demonstrator for disturbing the peace.
Last year, Syria claimed 23 activists attempting to breach the Israeli border were killed, and 350 were wounded by IDF soldiers, in clashes to commemorate the Palestinian “Naksa,” or “setback” of the 1967 Six-Day War.
