CAIRO - An influential Egyptian Salafist movement called on Islamists to leave the streets and go home, the state news agency reported on Thursday, after the military removed the Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsi from power.

The Dawa Salafiya urged "all sons of the Islamist movement" not to put themselves in fatal danger and to understand the "reality of the change that is happening in the political situation". It urged them to show patience and to "leave the squares to go to their mosques and homes".
