Two passenger trains collided on the outskirts of Cairo on Saturday, killing at least 14 people, according to an Egyptian police official. The official stated at least 25 others were wounded in the collision. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. Emergency personnel were working to extract the dead and wounded from the trains, the official added.
