Fight continues against Ibiza's biggest recorded fire

Firefighters fought for the third day from the ground and by Air against the largest wildfire in the Spanish island of Ibiza's history, AFP reported on Friday. Authorities began evacuating patrons at one of the island's hotels.
Interior minister of the regional government of the Balearic Islands, Pilar Costa, said that the blaze was "much more stable" though not yet contained.
Weather conditions helped firefighters, as calmer and more humid weather settled over the island famous for late-night parties and beaches.
Costa said that some 3,500 acres of vegetation were affected by the blaze.
