After Sunday's meeting between the doctors and Finance Ministry, mediator Professor Peterberg decided to postpone his trip abroad for another day in order to allow the two sides to reach an understanding, reported Israel Radio.

Strikes were scheduled for Monday in hospitals across the country, from the North to Tel Hashomer. The hospitals in the South are exempt from the strikes.

The two sides will report to the Supreme Court on Tuesday about the progress they've made in negotiations so far.
