The Neve Shaanan area has been outflanked after a fire started on Solomon Street on Thursday, the fire service in Haifa reported.
Firefighting forces have not yet gained control of the fire, but do not believe there is risk to homes in the area.
One resident, a 62-year-old woman, has been lightly injured from smoke inhalation and is currently being taken care of by paramedics from Magen David Adom .
